Pause New Connections While You’re Away
If you’re taking a break or stepping away from tutoring for a while, you can enable Do Not Disturb mode to stop receiving new parent connection requests. This lets you pause without deleting or hiding your tutor profile.

Step 1: Click the Profile Menu
Click the main profile menu icon to start. This will open the navigation so you can get to your account settings.
Step 2: Select my account.
This takes you to your personal teacher account options.
Step 3: Open Settings Menu.
Here you can adjust the platform setting to suit your preferences, including managing your notifications.
Step 4: Choose DND.
Turn on the switch to activate the Do Not Disturb mode.
Step 5: Activated DND
Now you have activated the Do Not Disturb mode which you can change at any time, students and parents will not be able to see your profile while browsing for tutors and cannot schedule any lessons with you.
💡 Troubleshooting Tips for DND Mode
Not seeing the Do Not Disturb toggle?
Make sure you’re logged into your teacher account. The toggle is only available within the Edit Availability section of your teacher dashboard.
Want to turn Do Not Disturb off?
Just revisit your availability settings and toggle it back off. You can start receiving new parent requests right away.
