Pick a subject or a goal, for a child or for yourself. We match on the need, not just the subject, with a certified tutor for one-on-one tutoring lessons.

Falling behind can knock a child's confidence fast. A certified teacher finds the gaps, explains it a new way and builds a plan around your child's grade and school curriculum.

For students who are ready for more. A certified teacher adds enrichment, supports advanced high school courses and helps teens prepare for university and college admissions.

Teachers with special education experience pace every lesson to your child and use strategies that work at home and at school.

English as a second language for newcomer children and for adults, with a certified teacher who adapts every lesson to your goals, from everyday English to the workplace.

Build skills and calm nerves before unit tests, final exams and provincial tests such as EQAO in Ontario, with practice that matches what your child is learning in class.
Homework apps and AI can hand your child the answer, and many learning centres give every child the same worksheets in a busy room. A certified teacher works with your child one-on-one, sees where they get stuck, explains it a different way and stays with it until it clicks. That's how confidence grows.

Mom-led
Founded by a mom and teacher, trusted by families across Canada
Markham is part of York Region District School Board, which had 126,879 students in 216 schools in October 2025. French-language schools serve the whole region, so the closest one may be in a neighbouring town.

The curriculum, the tests, the school boards and the French options your child's tutor will work with.
Schools follow the Ontario curriculum. Elementary report cards come three times a year: a fall progress report, a winter report card and a June report card. Dates vary by board.
Students write EQAO reading, writing and math in Grades 3 and 6, and math in Grade 9. The OSSLT literacy test follows in Grade 10 and is part of earning the Ontario diploma.
YRDSB runs English public schools and York Catholic DSB runs English Catholic schools across York Region. MonAvenir has a French Catholic elementary school in Markham, and Viamonde's nearest French public schools are in Richmond Hill.
YRDSB French Immersion starts in Grade 1, and you don't need to speak French at home. Every student takes Core French from Grade 4. The French boards teach fully in French.
