We were started by a mom and a teacher who wanted finding a great tutor to be simple, safe and affordable. Today we help families across Canada do just that.
Licensed teachers, registered ECEs and other qualified educators, each reviewed before they tutor.
Share the grade, subject, curriculum, learning needs and schedule, and we show you teachers who fit.
Teachers set their rates and you pick one that fits your budget. You only pay for the lessons you book.
Choose online lessons, home visits or your local public library. Message your teacher and see every lesson in one app.

Pick a subject or a goal, for a child or for yourself. We match on the need, not just the subject, with a certified tutor for one-on-one tutoring lessons.

Falling behind can knock a child's confidence fast. A certified teacher finds the gaps, explains it a new way and builds a plan around your child's grade and school curriculum.

For students who are ready for more. A certified teacher adds enrichment, supports advanced high school courses and helps teens prepare for university and college admissions.

Teachers with special education experience pace every lesson to your child and use strategies that work at home and at school.

French immersion, core French and French as a second language, for children and adults, even if nobody speaks French at home.

English as a second language for newcomer children and for adults, with a certified teacher who adapts every lesson to your goals, from everyday English to the workplace.

Build skills and calm nerves before unit tests, final exams and provincial tests such as EQAO in Ontario, with practice that matches what your child is learning in class.

Calgary families have lots of program choice. The CBE runs French immersion from Kindergarten or Grade 7, plus Spanish, Mandarin and German bilingual programs, IB and Advanced Placement.
The curriculum, the tests, the school boards and the French options your child's tutor will work with.
Calgary follows Alberta's curriculum. New K to 6 programs cover English language arts, math and science. Many CBE schools send two report cards a year, so check your school's dates.
Provincial achievement tests come in Grades 6 and 9. Grade 12 diploma exams count for 30% of the final mark. A tutor can use the province's practice exams.
The Calgary Board of Education is the English public board, the Calgary Catholic School District is the Catholic board, and Conseil scolaire FrancoSud runs French first-language schools.
The CBE and Calgary Catholic both offer early immersion from Kindergarten or Grade 1 and late immersion from Grade 7. No French background is needed to join CBE immersion.
Online lessons work anywhere. For in-person lessons, we match you with a certified teacher near you.

Book Calgary Public Library rooms up to 30 days ahead. Smaller spaces at Central, Crowfoot, Shawnessy and other branches can be booked up to three hours a day.

Online lessons reach every community here. In-person lessons depend on a certified teacher living nearby. Areas include:
