We were started by a mom and a teacher who wanted finding a great tutor to be simple, safe and affordable. Today we help families across Canada do just that.
Licensed teachers, registered ECEs and other qualified educators, each reviewed before they tutor.
Share the grade, subject, curriculum, learning needs and schedule, and we show you teachers who fit.
Teachers set their rates and you pick one that fits your budget. You only pay for the lessons you book.
Choose online lessons, home visits or your local public library. Message your teacher and see every lesson in one app.

Pick a subject or a goal, for a child or for yourself. We match on the need, not just the subject, with a certified tutor for one-on-one tutoring lessons.

Falling behind can knock a child's confidence fast. A certified teacher finds the gaps, explains it a new way and builds a plan around your child's grade and school curriculum.

For students who are ready for more. A certified teacher adds enrichment, supports advanced high school courses and helps teens prepare for university and college admissions.

Teachers with special education experience pace every lesson to your child and use strategies that work at home and at school.

French immersion, core French and French as a second language, for children and adults, even if nobody speaks French at home.

English as a second language for newcomer children and for adults, with a certified teacher who adapts every lesson to your goals, from everyday English to the workplace.

Build skills and calm nerves before unit tests, final exams and provincial tests such as EQAO in Ontario, with practice that matches what your child is learning in class.

Report cards from Kindergarten to Grade 9 use a four-point scale: Emerging, Developing, Proficient and Extending. "Developing" means your child is partway to the grade's standards. Letter grades start in Grade 10.
The curriculum, the tests, the school boards and the French options your child's tutor will work with.
The Ministry of Education and Child Care sets the K to 12 curriculum, built on literacy, numeracy and three core competencies. Grades 10 to 12 use letter grades and percentages.
The FSA checks reading, writing and math and doesn't affect marks. Graduation assessments in Grades 10 and 12 are required for the Dogwood Diploma. A tutor builds real-world practice.
Every district follows the provincial curriculum. The Conseil scolaire francophone de la Colombie-Britannique (School District No. 93) runs French schools across BC. Independent schools follow the BC curriculum too.
French immersion is offered in 45 districts, usually from Kindergarten or Grade 1, with late entry in Grade 6. The CSF's Programme francophone serves children of Section 23 rights holders.
Online lessons work anywhere. For in-person lessons, we match you with a certified teacher near you.

Libraries across BC are calm spots for in-person lessons. The Vancouver Public Library has free rooms and study pods at the Central Library. Or choose online lessons anywhere.

Online lessons reach every community here. In-person lessons depend on a certified teacher living nearby. Areas include:
Vancouver, Surrey, Burnaby, Richmond, Victoria, Kelowna, Abbotsford and Coquitlam
