We were started by a mom and a teacher who wanted finding a great tutor to be simple, safe and affordable. Today we help families across Canada do just that.
Licensed teachers, registered ECEs and other qualified educators, each reviewed before they tutor.
Share the grade, subject, curriculum, learning needs and schedule, and we show you teachers who fit.
Teachers set their rates and you pick one that fits your budget. You only pay for the lessons you book.
Choose online lessons, home visits or your local public library. Message your teacher and see every lesson in one app.

Pick a subject or a goal, for a child or for yourself. We match on the need, not just the subject, with a certified tutor for one-on-one tutoring lessons.

Falling behind can knock a child's confidence fast. A certified teacher finds the gaps, explains it a new way and builds a plan around your child's grade and school curriculum.

For students who are ready for more. A certified teacher adds enrichment, supports advanced high school courses and helps teens prepare for university and college admissions.

Teachers with special education experience pace every lesson to your child and use strategies that work at home and at school.

French immersion, core French and French as a second language, for children and adults, even if nobody speaks French at home.

English as a second language for newcomer children and for adults, with a certified teacher who adapts every lesson to your goals, from everyday English to the workplace.

Build skills and calm nerves before unit tests, final exams and provincial tests such as EQAO in Ontario, with practice that matches what your child is learning in class.

550+ certified, background-checked teachers across Canada already tutor with Connect Education
Canada has no national school system. Each province and territory sets its own curriculum, grades, report cards and tests, so a tutor who knows your province's program is worth a lot.
The curriculum, the tests, the school boards and the French options your child's tutor will work with.
Most provinces run Kindergarten to Grade 12, while Quebec has its own cycles followed by CEGEP. Report card timing is set locally, so your school's calendar is the best guide.
Ontario has EQAO, BC has the FSA, Alberta has PATs and diploma exams, and Quebec has ministry exams. A tutor helps your child prepare for the test where you live.
Some regions have elected school boards, others have regional centres run by the department. Every province and territory has a French-language board. Our province and city pages name yours.
Section 23 of the Charter gives eligible parents the right to French-language schooling where numbers warrant. Our tutors support core French, immersion and French-language schools.
Online lessons work anywhere. For in-person lessons, we match you with a certified teacher near you.

Public libraries are free, quiet and close to home, with tables or study rooms. Many families book lessons at their local branch after school or on weekends.

Online lessons reach every community here. In-person lessons depend on a certified teacher living nearby. Areas include:
British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, Newfoundland and Labrador, Yukon, Northwest Territories and Nunavut
