We were started by a mom and a teacher who wanted finding a great tutor to be simple, safe and affordable. Today we help families across Canada do just that.
Licensed teachers, registered ECEs and other qualified educators, each reviewed before they tutor.
Share the grade, subject, curriculum, learning needs and schedule, and we show you teachers who fit.
Teachers set their rates and you pick one that fits your budget. You only pay for the lessons you book.
Choose online lessons, home visits or your local public library. Message your teacher and see every lesson in one app.

Pick a subject or a goal, for a child or for yourself. We match on the need, not just the subject, with a certified tutor for one-on-one tutoring lessons.

Falling behind can knock a child's confidence fast. A certified teacher finds the gaps, explains it a new way and builds a plan around your child's grade and school curriculum.

For students who are ready for more. A certified teacher adds enrichment, supports advanced high school courses and helps teens prepare for university and college admissions.

Teachers with special education experience pace every lesson to your child and use strategies that work at home and at school.

French immersion, core French and French as a second language, for children and adults, even if nobody speaks French at home.

English as a second language for newcomer children and for adults, with a certified teacher who adapts every lesson to your goals, from everyday English to the workplace.

Build skills and calm nerves before unit tests, final exams and provincial tests such as EQAO in Ontario, with practice that matches what your child is learning in class.

In Nova Scotia, the first year of school is called Primary, not Kindergarten. The province tests reading, writing and math in Grades 3, 6 and 8 through its PLANS program.
The curriculum, the tests, the school boards and the French options your child's tutor will work with.
The Public School Program covers Primary to Grade 12. Each report card has a Learner Profile on social skills and work habits, plus a Student Achievement section.
Grade 3, 6 and 8 assessments do not count toward marks. Grade 10 writes English 10, Français 10 and Mathematics 10 exams. A tutor builds the skills, not test tricks.
Seven English-language Regional Centres for Education replaced the elected school boards in 2018. Halifax is the largest. The Conseil scolaire acadien provincial (CSAP) runs French first-language schooling province-wide.
Core French is required in Grades 4 to 9. Early French Immersion starts in Primary and Late Immersion in Grade 7. Our tutors support immersion and CSAP students in French.
Online lessons work anywhere. For in-person lessons, we match you with a certified teacher near you.

Nova Scotia's libraries are organized into regional systems, with Halifax Public Libraries the largest. A local branch is a quiet, free and familiar place for an in-person lesson.

Online lessons reach every community here. In-person lessons depend on a certified teacher living nearby. Areas include:
Halifax, Dartmouth, Sydney, Truro, New Glasgow and Kentville
