We were started by a mom and a teacher who wanted finding a great tutor to be simple, safe and affordable. Today we help families across Canada do just that.
Licensed teachers, registered ECEs and other qualified educators, each reviewed before they tutor.
Share the grade, subject, curriculum, learning needs and schedule, and we show you teachers who fit.
Teachers set their rates and you pick one that fits your budget. You only pay for the lessons you book.
Choose online lessons, home visits or your local public library. Message your teacher and see every lesson in one app.

Pick a subject or a goal, for a child or for yourself. We match on the need, not just the subject, with a certified tutor for one-on-one tutoring lessons.

Falling behind can knock a child's confidence fast. A certified teacher finds the gaps, explains it a new way and builds a plan around your child's grade and school curriculum.

For students who are ready for more. A certified teacher adds enrichment, supports advanced high school courses and helps teens prepare for university and college admissions.

Teachers with special education experience pace every lesson to your child and use strategies that work at home and at school.

French immersion, core French and French as a second language, for children and adults, even if nobody speaks French at home.

English as a second language for newcomer children and for adults, with a certified teacher who adapts every lesson to your goals, from everyday English to the workplace.

Build skills and calm nerves before unit tests, final exams and provincial tests such as EQAO in Ontario, with practice that matches what your child is learning in class.

Vancouver French immersion is a district choice program: families apply online in winter, and seats go by draw when there are more applicants than spaces. Early immersion starts in Kindergarten, late immersion after Grade 5.
The curriculum, the tests, the school boards and the French options your child's tutor will work with.
Vancouver follows the BC curriculum. From Kindergarten to Grade 9, learning is reported on a proficiency scale, from Emerging to Extending. Letter grades and percentages start in Grade 10.
The FSA checks reading, writing and math in Grades 4 and 7, and doesn't affect marks. Graduation needs Grade 10 numeracy and literacy and Grade 12 literacy assessments.
The Vancouver School Board runs public schools for about 50,000 students. The Conseil scolaire francophone de la Colombie-Britannique runs French first-language schools, and CISVA covers Catholic independent schools.
The VSB offers Early French Immersion from Kindergarten and Late French Immersion for Grades 6 and 7, continuing into secondary. The CSF runs francophone schools like École Anne-Hébert.
Online lessons work anywhere. For in-person lessons, we match you with a certified teacher near you.

Vancouver Public Library's Central Library has free meeting rooms and study pods, some bookable with a card. Mount Pleasant, Renfrew, South Hill and West Point Grey also have meeting rooms.

Online lessons reach every community here. In-person lessons depend on a certified teacher living nearby. Areas include:
Kitsilano, Mount Pleasant, Kerrisdale, Dunbar-Southlands, Grandview-Woodland, Killarney, Marpole and West End
