Rescheduling a Lesson
You may reschedule a lesson through the platform up to 48 hours before the scheduled start time with no penalty. This gives your teacher enough notice to adjust their schedule and ensures a smooth experience for both of you.
To reschedule, log in to your parent account, go to your upcoming lessons, and select the reschedule option to choose a new date and time.
If you need to reschedule within the 48-hour window, message your teacher directly through the Chat feature. Many teachers are happy to accommodate last-minute changes when contacted promptly.
Cancelling a Lesson
If you need to cancel a lesson 24 hours or more before the scheduled start time, no charge will be applied to your account.
Cancellations made within 24 hours of the lesson will result in a fee of 50% of the lesson rate, paid to the teacher to compensate for the time they reserved for your child.
How to Dispute a Cancellation Fee
If you believe a fee was applied unfairly, you can submit a cancellation dispute form within 24 hours of the cancelled appointment. Provide a clear explanation and any supporting details.
Acceptable reasons for a fee waiver include emergencies, sudden illness, and genuine unforeseen circumstances. Connect Education and the teacher both retain discretion to waive the fee in exceptional cases.
Teacher Cancellations
If your teacher cancels a lesson, the session will not be deducted from your lesson balance. Connect Education will work with you to arrange a replacement time at no additional cost.
Policy Updates
Connect Education reserves the right to modify the cancellation policy at any time. Any changes will be communicated by email or through platform notifications. Tutors also maintain their own discretion to make exceptions in extraordinary circumstances.
