ESL Teachers Wanted

You will teach English as a second language one on one, online or in person, on a schedule that works around your week. Learners include adults building everyday and workplace English, international students preparing for college or university, newcomers preparing for CELPIP or IELTS, and newcomer children who need support at school.

We match you with learners by level and goal, so you teach the students you are best suited to. Connect Education handles the administrative side: matching, scheduling, family communication and payments.

• Must be an approved teacher on the Connect Education Platform. Log in: app.connect-education.com/en/login

• Certified teacher who holds a professional teacher certificate in good standing

• ESL training such as the Teaching English Language Learners AQ, TESL Canada, OCELT or CELTA (required for adult learners and test preparation)

• Experience teaching English language learners

• Comfortable teaching online, with reliable internet and a quiet teaching space
