Quick take

  • Connect Education exhibited at Salsa at Niagara Falls on September 12 and 13, a free two-day festival held on the car-free Niagara River Parkway.
  • The festival brought 300-plus performers across two stages, free beginner dance lessons, a Latin food market and fireworks at 10:00 PM both nights.
  • Families visiting the Connect Education booth could spin a prize wheel, pick up snacks and stickers, and ask real certified teachers their questions.
  • Events like this let families meet the team in person, and anyone who missed it can still book a free 15-minute assessment anytime.

Salsa at Niagara Falls took place on September 12 and 13, 2026. Read our recap of the weekend for photos and highlights.

For two days the Niagara River Parkway closed to cars and turned into a dance floor, from noon to 10:00 PM, free to walk in. We exhibited both days with a prize wheel, and plenty of families stopped by with their kids.

What was on

Over the two days, more than 300 performers played across two stages, the TLN Stage and the Univision Canada Stage.

  • Live music both nights. Andy Rubal headlined Saturday from 8:00 PM to 9:30 PM, after Aiona Santana, and Yani Borrell played Sunday before Frankie Negrón's headline set.
  • Free dance lessons in salsa, bachata, rueda cubana and Afro-Cuban, for total beginners.
  • Social dancing zones along the Parkway and at Oakes Garden Theatre.
  • A Latin food market running the length of the site, and live karaoke.
  • Fireworks at 10:00 PM both nights, set to salsa music, over the falls.

The festival was produced by the Canadian Salsa Festivals Project with Niagara Falls Tourism, the Niagara Parks Commission, Fallsview Casino Resort and TLN Media Group.

Our booth

We were in Queen Victoria Park, in the vendor row on the Niagara Parkway, under a cobalt blue tent with a sign that read "Find the best tutor for your child". Every child got a spin of the prize wheel, with snacks, stickers, mouse pads and Connect Education merch to take home. Our founder Marilyn Solano was there both days with our Teacher Ambassadors and the rest of the team, answering parents' questions about school and tutoring.
