All the educators on our platform are certified teachers or early childhood educators who hold a professional teacher certificate in good standing. This means they are highly trained, educated, and experienced with completed background checks. We do our best to validate our teachers but still urge parents to do their due diligence before hiring a teacher.

We recognize that financial constraints can be a reality for many families. That's why we put you in control: you decide what you can afford, and we connect you with certified teachers whose rates fit your budget.

Your availability for scheduling the tutoring dates are a criteria you set during the matching process. This ensures that the teachers you are matched with have availability during the schedule you have requested.

There is no cost to join our community. Once a contract is agreed upon, the platform service fee is 25% of each session rate for all sessions and contracts initiated on or after September 1st, 2026, and it comes out of the total amount charged by the educator. This fee covers any admin fees and platform fees. Remember, we do all the administrative work for you through the platform.

We discourage canceling contracts unless necessary. Teachers must abide by their agreement to teach students. If there is a medical issue or any other issue that cannot be resolved, please go through the dispute resolution process so we can help you find a different educator. Our system does not require your child's date of birth, however we do require this for parents and teachers.

There is no limit on how many lessons you can book or extend with your teacher. Your plan is built around your child. Your certified teacher creates a personalized one-on-one learning plan based on your child's goals, so how many lessons you book depends on what your child needs. No, you don't need to pay to sign up to the platform. Signing up is completely free of charge. You only pay for the tutoring sessions that you schedule with our tutors.

While we strive to match students with qualified tutors, we cannot guarantee that a tutor will be available to meet at a specific location, in-person preferences, or other specialized requirements. Availability is subject to the tutor's location, teaching capacity, and schedule. We encourage flexibility in choosing either online or in-person options to increase the chances of finding the best match.
