About Connect Education
We are an EdTech start-up connecting certified educators with students across Canada. Our mission is to empower students through trusted mentors and innovative technology.
Overview

The role at a glance

Connect Education needs someone who can tell our story across every channel that matters: social media, search, the blog, and email. You will help parents discover us when they are looking for a tutor, and help educators find us when they want meaningful teaching work.

You will write, publish, optimize, and measure. You will work closely with the Marketing Manager,  and you will use modern tools (including AI) to move fast without losing quality. The work is hands-on, varied, and high-impact.

Scope

What you will own

Social media strategy and execution

  • Develop and run a dynamic content calendar across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, and Threads.
  • Post consistently across all channels, 3 to 5 times per week, with platform-native adaptation.
  • Write compelling captions, carousels, reels, and stories that resonate with parents and educators.
  • Conduct monthly competitive analysis and surface trend-driven ideas.

  • Optimize on-page SEO: title tags, meta descriptions, headings, internal linking, and image alt text.
  • Manage the blog editorial calendar in Webflow CMS and coordinate publishing timelines.
  • Monitor keyword rankings, organic traffic, and blog conversion rates; recommend improvements.

HTML email campaigns and lead nurturing

  • Design, build, and send HTML email campaigns for parents, educators, and prospects.

  • Track KPIs: follower growth, engagement, organic traffic, blog rankings, ROAS, lead conversions.
  • Use GA 4, Search Console, Meta Insights, and CRM reporting.
